The Main City Park near the middle of town regularly hosts exciting events including outdoor concerts, fun runs, and sports competitions in the summertime, as well as sledding and ice skating in the winter. Across the main park and five smaller parks residents may use nine tennis courts, two softball fields, a band shell, sand volleyball court, pavilions, a sledding hill, ice rink, and convenient public restrooms. St. Johns High School is also equipped with a pool, which is open for community use at certain times.
